This course is designed for beginners with no prior jewelry-making experience required.

Day 1: Introduction & Materials
Introduction to jewelry making, overview of tools and materials used. Learn names and types of threads, wires, beads, stones, and fabrics. Important safety tips and proper tool handling techniques.
Day 2: Wrapping Techniques - Basics
Master thread wrapping and wire wrapping techniques. Learn about color combinations and finishing tips. Hands-on practice with simple wrapping exercises.
Day 3: Wrapping Techniques - Jhumka
Create traditional jhumka earrings. Learn dome base shaping and wrapping techniques. Decorate your designs with beads and stones for authentic traditional jewelry.
Day 4: Wrapping Techniques - Beads and Rings
Explore bead setting and combinations. Create wrapped finger rings. Learn to use jump rings and earring hooks in your designs.
Day 5: Wrapping Techniques - Bangles & Chandanbali
Prepare bangle bases and learn thread wrapping techniques. Design Chandanbali style earrings with circle designs. Introduction to traditional shapes like peacock and leaf motifs.
Day 6: Designing Earrings
Create various earring styles including studs, danglers, and multi-layered designs. Incorporate chains, beads, and mirror work into your creations.
Day 7: Designing Bangles and Dollar Designs
Design both layered and single bangles. Learn to create "dollars" (pendants) for necklaces, expanding your jewelry-making skills.
Day 8: Patches and Accessories
Make decorative patches for dresses, hairpins, or sarees. Learn techniques for attaching fabric or lace with jewelry elements.
Day 9: Necklace Making
Create both short and long necklaces using wrapped and beaded elements. Learn to assemble complete sets (earring + dollar + chain) for coordinated jewelry.
Day 10: Final Project & Display
Each student creates a complete set or their favorite pieces. Presentation of work in a mini exhibition or photoshoot. Receive feedback, tips for improvement, and optional certification.
